Tanasha earned her Bachelor of Science degree in human health science from Iowa’s University of Dubuque. She began her career in healthcare as a certified nursing assistant through Eastern Iowa Community Colleges. Later, she earned her Master of Athletic Training degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Tanasha also became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Prior to her career in athletic training, Tanasha was a NCAA Division III track and field athlete. Some of her athletic career accomplishments included becoming an NCAA shot put national champion and being named an NCAA track and field All-American seven times. She’s also an all-conference medalist and Conference Most Valuable Performer – Field Athlete in the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
